The highly anticipated 2019 BMW Z4 Roadster has finally arrived, and boy it doesn’t disappoint! It debuted at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance one year after the concept version was released at the same locale. The all-new Z4 is both striking in its new design and sporty in its performance and handling. This newly released Z4 model is the M40i First Edition and comes in a Frozen Orange Metallic color with a power-folding soft-top available in Anthracite. 19” alloy wheels come standard on the all-new Z4, while the signature BMW kidney grille sports a new and aggressive mesh design across the front. A clamshell hood stretches across the 2019 Z4 and intersects with vertically stacked headlights for a sleek and aerodynamic look.
Once inside the two-seater Z4, you’ll experience rich Vernasca black leather trim, an incredible Harman Kardon premium sound system, and BMW’s LiveCockpit Professional which expertly blends the existing iDrive infotainment system with the newly redesigned digital instrument cluster. And although technical specifications for the Roadster have not been officially released by BMW yet, they have announced that the all-new Z4 will house a 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine that can travel from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds. Rumors and speculations say that this powertrain will likely produce anywhere from 350-382 horsepower, but we won’t know for sure until more information is divulged by BMW. Pricing also has not yet been revealed for this updated Z4, but the rumor mill believes it could be as early as September when we find out.
