If you've ever driven a BMW, you know how durable they are. But do you know exactly HOW durable?
That's what Car Throttle, a popular YouTube channel, recently tried to find out. And their findings were definitely impressive.
Our BMW dealership in San Antonio is proud to carry these fantastic vehicles, and we love looking up cool BMW stories like this. These guys found how just how much horsepower a two-decade old BMW can produce.
"A really, really good one of these will still do the 317," Charlie from Car Throttle explains. "But it's very rare."
This one in particular delivered an impressive 279 horsepower, which is not far off from its original 317. Folks, it's very hard for a vehicle this old to still produce that kind of number.
