When you think about improved automotive visibility, chances are don’t think that fewer rearview mirrors would be the solution. In the brand's latest i8 concept, the Bavarian automaker has gotten rid of blind spots in perhaps one of the most unexpected manners possible: by going mirrorless.

By replaces car mirrors with cameras, the new BMW i8 concept manages to provide its operators with an improved few of the road behind them, all integrated in one convenient location--rather than the traditional three mirror configuration we're accustomed to.

BMW calls its i8 an "icon of progress," and here at BMW of San Antonio, we're inclined to agree. To learn more about the energizing performance of this unprecedented sports car, stay tuned here on our blog.
