Maybe it's just the 007 fan in us talking, but there's something about the spy game that's pretty intriguing to the folks on our BMW of San Antonio staff. In lieu of tracking down Goldfinger or Dr. No, we recently scoured the internet searching for "top secret" BMW news and came across a bunch of spy shots of the pending 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible.
Taken just outside BMW's Nürburgring facility on rainy day, the photos caught the car with its top up. However, the heavy camouflaging that we've become accustomed to seeing was stripped way down, giving us a better feel for the look of the new vehicle.
We're dealing with a very sleek front end which of course sports the classic kidney grille. The nose is long and lean, and even with the top up this new BMW is very inviting. Personally, members of our San Antonio, TX staff can't wait to accept by getting behind the wheel.
There's no official word on powertrain options, but the smart money is on the German automaker releasing the all-new edition with both a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. With each option available, the convertible-lover in all of us will have something to get excited about.
Clearly, we're anxiously anticipating its arrival and we could talk shop about this new offering for quite some time. For more information about the under-wraps release, feel free to drop into our dealership. We'd be happy to fill you in on what we know thus far. Of course, while you're here, you can also take a look at the other inviting models that we already have in stock and ready to go.
