One of our favorite features of the 2018 7-Series is the surprising agility of the large sedan, while also being quiet and smooth. Powertrain options include a four-cylinder hybrid, an inline six-cylinder, two V8s, and a V12. They all come with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission and an auto stop-start feature. The 7-Series hybrid gets the best fuel economy, with a combined 27 miles per gallon.

Standard safety features on the 7-Series include a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and active post-crash braking.
