Previewing the 2019 BMW 3 Series Before Its Upcoming Release

Slated to debut a new car at this year’s 2018 Paris Motor Show on October 2, BMW has already revealed quite a bit of information about the newest version of its 3 Series Sedan without actually providing an official release of any kind. Thanks to test drives, spy shots, and the ever-productive rumor mill, we’re here to bring you a compilation of all the information that’s available about this updated luxury sedan before its upcoming release next week.

The seventh iteration of its kind, the 2019 BMW 3 Series Sedan is expected to have a ton of exciting updates sure to make even the most loyal of BMW-fans ecstatic. Slightly physically larger than its predecessor, the all-new 3 Series Sedan is actually 120 pounds lighter which gives it a much “stronger connection to the road” as well as more overall efficiency and a better fuel economy. Once inside the 2019 BMW 3 Series Sedan, you’ll find that the interior is similarly sized to the previous model but features the revolutionary and exciting brand new fully digital instrument cluster that was first introduced in the BMW 8 Series. It is also rumored that 18” alloy wheels will also be apart of the updated BMW 3 Series Sedans but of course, we will all have to wait and see.

Taking a peek at the latest unofficial information regarding its powertrain, it appears as though the updated BMW 3 Series sedan will come equipped with a turbocharged 3-liter 6-cylinder engine that can generate a staggering 360-370 horsepower and will have an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard, though no one knows for certain. A few things that BMW has confirmed is that the 2019 BMW 3 Series Sedans will definitely feature wider tracks, an optional M sports suspension, a new damping system to help reduce vibrations over bumps, and supposedly one of the versions will house BMW’s most powerful 4-cylinder engine ever made for a production car… but that information has yet to be released.
