BMW Launches “Heroes of Bavaria -- 75 Years of BMW Motorsports”

Just launched on May 12th, BMW of North America has partnered up with the BMW Car Club of America Foundation and LeMay -- America’s Car Museum to present “Heroes of Bavaria -- 75 Years of BMW Motorsports.” This impressive exhibit features seventeen of BMW’s most memorable and iconic race cars sourced from various private collections as well as the BMWUSA Classic Collection.

The grand opening was Bavarian-themed and featured discussions with notable BMW individuals such as Thomas Plucinsky, Head of BMW Group Product Communications & BMWUSA Classic, and Bill Auberlen, one of the most successful factory race car drivers in BMW history. On display you’ll find the very first 1961 700 RS, the 1994 320i Super Touring #2, a 1972 3.0 CSL Group 2 Rally Car (the only one of its kind!), and more! Ready to get tickets? Head on over to the ACM’s website now to snag them before they’re gone!

Although race cars aren’t exactly meant for the everyday streets, are you ready to get into your own road-ready, Ultimate Driving Machine? Here at BMW of San Antonio, we have a wide selection just for you. Check it out by clicking here!
