The BMW X1 Will Have a New Plug-In Hybrid Version in 2019

The BMW X1 was the first-ever front-wheel drive-based BMW to ever be sold in America. Debuting in 2019 is another new first for the German automaker. A new, plug-in hybrid variant will be coming out that will also be the first in its segment. This hybrid model will likely be a facelifted model, without a lot of obvious changes. The rear tailgate will have a little camouflage, as will the taillights, but the actual taillights themselves won’t really look any different. There may also be a bit of camo on the headlights and the front fascia.

Many of the features that you enjoy on the 2018 BMW X1 will remain the same on the hybrid version, and drivers in New Braunfels and Boerne, TX will soon be able to find it at BMW of San Antonio. It will still have a sport steering wheel, power tailgate, and power front seats standard. And, if you want even more luxury, you can choose from five available packages to make it look and feel the way you want. The Convenience Tier gives you a panoramic moonroof, ambient lighting and power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors to improve your view of the road. For more tech, the Premium Tier gives you super-bright and long-lasting LED headlamps to illuminate the road ahead, a Head-up Display, and BMW Navigation for driving information and directions. With the Luxury Package, you get all the features already mentioned, along with fine-wood and brushed aluminum trims with pearl chrome accent and a Dakota Leather interior.

Since your safety is imperative, the BMW X1 offers an optional Driving Assistance Package with automated high-beam headlights for worry-free driving along with other safety features like adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, and traffic sign information. The plug-in hybrid BMW X1 is coming out soon. People in San Antonio and San Marcos, TX can schedule a test drive of the 2019 BMW X1 at BMW of San Antonio.
